Compression
Many who need compression therapy may not even know it, recently you can find pilots, flight attendants, runners, and nurses to pregnant women, people recovering from surgery will benefit from Compression therapy.
HOW IT WORKS
Blood in our veins are constantly working against gravity to flow back to the heart. Should there be interruptions —such as circulation problems, lack of movement (especially after an injury or surgery), or weakness in the walls of the veins of the legs (referred to as venous insufficiency)—results in blood pooling in the veins of the lower legs or feet, leading to leg swelling, achiness, and leg fatigue;
It could also make you vulnerable to a venous clot.
Compression socks and stocking work by squeezing the leg tissues and walls of the veins, aiding the blood back to the heart, which allows better circulation in your body. They can also improve the flow of the fluid (called lymph) that bathes the cells in the legs, which reduces tissue swelling.
